Welding Wire-FW143

Flux cored wleding wire FW143 has high-chrome with Niobium content on Fe-basis.

Chemical Compositions(%)

C 4~5%, Cr 22~24%, Mn 0.3~0.5%, Mn 0.5~1.0%, Nb 6.0~7.0%, Fe: Balance

Hardness Range

1st  layer on S235 JRG2: 58-60HRC

2nd layer on S235 JRG2: 60-62HRC

Pure welding deposit: 65+ HRC

FW143 produces the high wear resisting surfacing which can be achieved under middle impact force. High chromium cast iron is used for surfacing of parts that are subjected to heavy wear and impact. It can withstand high temperatures up to 350℃. Soluble coated metals with hard composite carbides in tough substrates perform well in fine and coarse wear

Suitable for raw material mill, slag mill, extrusion roll pattern layer surfacing It is normal to have stress release cracks on the surface after welding

Description

Abrasion-Tech chromium flux cored wire which enables a Cr-Mo-V alloyed deposit for semi automatic and automatic surfacing.

It is good for customer to repair and build up worn components and (or) provide cladding of components subject to all types of abrasion, impact, corrosion or temperature.

Our products protect high-wear components in plants and machinery, and provide a very economical and long-lasting solution to a wide range of wear problems.

With the application of weld overlays, most new or rebuilt components can meet service life targets not achievable under original OEM conditions, and our team can assist welding engineers in developing these processes.
